Accessibility statement
Last updated: 2 October 2026
1. Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or speech recognition. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 at level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
This statement covers this website. The ECO platform has its own accessibility statement.
2. How accessible this website is
In October 2026 we tested this website against WCAG 2.1 AA, as described below. Our testing finds no failures.
3. How we tested it
We tested every page of this website:
- With axe, an automated accessibility testing tool, in both colour themes, at phone and desktop widths
- By measuring the contrast of each line of text against the background actually behind it, including the background gradients
- At 320 pixels wide, to check that pages read without scrolling sideways
- With a keyboard alone: every link, button and form field can be reached and used, focus is always visible, and menus and dialogs open, close and return focus as expected
- At 200% zoom
- With increased text spacing, as WCAG describes, checking that no text is cut off or overlaps
- By checking the structure a screen reader reads: page titles, headings, landmarks, and the names and states of links, buttons and form fields
- With NVDA, a screen reader, moving through each page by heading, landmark, link and button, and using its menus, dialog, accordion and controls
4. Animation
Some illustrations and dividers move slowly while you are on a page. To stop them, use Pause animations at the bottom of any page; the website remembers your choice. If your device is set to reduce motion, nothing on this website moves.
5. Telling us about a problem
If you find part of this website hard to use, or need information in a different format, email help@estatescompliance.com. Tell us which page you were on and what went wrong, and we will get back to you.
